You’re so #blessed to work from home….
- The dishes piled up in the sink
- The kids who pop in when you’re on client calls
- The one-off errands right in the middle of your last work block for the day
- The constant distractions of wet laundry, beeping timers, and dogs who need to go out
Yeah, it’s an amazing life, isn’t it?
- All the “impact” you get to make (usually it’s just your head against the wall)
- The wonderful “client stories” you get to hear (it appalls you, what women are willing to put up with as business owners)
- The “sisterhood” you’re now a part of (try the “why isn’t SAHM life good enough for you” judginess)
- The “abundance” you’re now bringing in (more like an abundance of worry and stress)
And sometimes you wonder…
- Is entrepreneurship even worth it in the first place?
- Am I the only one who doesn’t like this WFH life when the gold rubs off?
- Did I fall for someone else’s marketing ploy the day I filed for my LLC?
Listen. Online business is NOT a “pot of gold at the end of a rainbow” kind of thing, but you DO have to turn something fundamental around.
Your “good enough for now” mentality.
- No, it’s NOT good enough for now that the kids brought their dishes to the sink (instead of leaving them on the table). They need to be stacking them in the dishwasher for you.
- It’s NOT good enough that your mike has a mute button for client calls – your kids need to respect your client’s time by not interrupting, i.e. shortening, your session with her.
- And it’s NOT enough that you have a super flexible schedule for those errands – you still need regular work hours to make sure your OWN deliverables and content and marketing get done.
- No, it’s NOT enough that working from home allows you to blend business with family life – you need an actual PLAN for how to manage everything (that doesn’t leave you tearing your hair out in multi-tasking frustration).
Because you’re worth WAY more than a “mom the housekeeper who’s also got a side hustle” role….
And that’s going to take retraining every single person in your immediate family. (Babies excepted.)
‘Cause THEY’RE all going to have to step up, LEARN some life skills (or start practicing the ones they have!), and share the load around the house – you’ve stopped being available for everyone’s grunt work that they conveniently “forgot” to do.
But what this takes is YOU having a rock solid “I don’t do all the chores around here” mindset.
So inside my “take back 20 hours per week” program, I’ll WORK on your underlying worthiness and mom role and chore responsibility beliefs WITH you – so that once I hand you your new, outsourced schedule and way smaller task list….
You don’t just go out and automatically sabotage it.
You’re ready to CLAIM it.
Because once you ditch “this should work” thinking – everything changes.
Your energy levels, your client satisfaction, your sheer productivity, your mothering, your entire sense of purpose in life….
But ONLY if you’re willing to stop settling, and start demanding.
That’s what it takes.
‘Cause I’m not a manifestation expert.
And I don’t call myself a fancy soul healer.
I blend taking YOUR next right action with that nudge of intuition.
DM me when the energy healers aren’t cutting it anymore for your day-to-day satisfaction.
