Have you ever wished you could have a coach just for #momlife matters?
Some people are into health coaches, wealth coaches, speaking coaches – but you’d just like a helping hand in your everyday life right now, thank you very much.
No fancy techniques allowed.
Just learning all the #momhacks for the mundane, practical matters that make up the moments of your life – and meeting some great people (fellow introverts, of course!) while you’re at it.
If that sounds like an unattainable pipe dream, well, no longer!
You can have personal, peer-to-peer mentoring for no other reason than “I’m a mom and I need help.”
- Or, “I’m an introvert and my kids are driving me batty.”
- Or even, “I’d like one more baby, but I can’t see how I’ll fit everything in, so we haven’t started trying yet.”
Here’s what peer-to-peer mentoring can do for you.
Jolt you out of your rut
First things first: You’ve been looking at your family from the inside out for too long.
What you need is a way to get yourself unstuck from your old, familiar, I-can’t-do-anything-about-that rut.
(Plus, a little empathy from other moms-of-multiples who’ve dealt with the same thing never hurts, either!)
Bring your problem to a group of friends, and you’ll hear some outside the box suggestions that just might help you succeed.
(At the very least, they’ll zap your thinking cap into working again!)
Being around women who want you to succeed? Who know what you’ve been going through (because they’ve been there themselves), know how you’re doing right now (because they’ve asked!), and know a few tips and tricks that might work for you?
That’s where the power is at.
That’s when you’ll find the mojo to do something about that really frustrating Thursday night schedule, or your daughter’s piano lesson (that isn’t going so well), or the baby’s (really annoying) food-prep needs.
(Hey, no guilt! Running the house entails a ton of little stuff – so you might as well optimize every second of it to suit you!)
Force you to change or quit
And the second way you benefit from #momlife coaching? It forces you to put up or shut up.
You can’t pay money to join a community, share your problems, get tailored coaching just for your situation, and celebrate your successes without wanting to get everything you can out of it (that’s just human nature).
Really – are you going to show up week after week on Zoom calls and say, “Oh, sorry, I didn’t get around to last week’s action item – but I promise I really do want to change?”
A few weeks of that, and you’ll either light a fire under your rear or quit. We humans don’t take embarrassment well.
So put your money where your mouth is, commit to showing up and changing something about your life, and let’s see where you go!
(Did I say I’m excited for you?!)
And you know what? You will succeed!
(Aka, get that happier, slower, time-for-you life.)
In fact, you can’t not succeed – unless you choose to avoid change.
Because you’re the one holding the power here – all the empathy and #momhacks in the world can’t fix your problems if you don’t want to be fixed.
It’s always been up to you. Move forward, or stay stuck.
It’s your choice.
