You’re sipping your lukewarm coffee, scrolling through your almost-complete sales page, thinking “yep, finally nailed it.”
Hit save, then publish, and you’re off to grab the kids from school….
And start on the 6 tasks that DIDN’T get done because you focused on that sales copy.
(It HAD to get out – you’ve got that digital primer product coming out soon – but the prioritization is killing you.)
Does it always have to be like this, dropping one glass ball for another as a working mom??
(You barely remembered to sign the kids’ school forms, and had to get somebody else to drive them to band practice and baseball this week – let’s not talk about what they got for supper the last 4 nights, either….)
Why can’t you ever get ahead in the content/marketing/launching game?
Isn’t it supposed to be “work hard, build up some margin, take a breather”?
Then why aren’t you getting there, when you’re working so hard every single effing day??
Seriously – you’re batching reels like crazy, swiping every great hook you find, storing up captions for next time the kids get sick and overturn your work week….
(And if you’re like me, you’ve gone ahead and scheduled all your social media posts and Kit emails WEEKS out, just so you never forget the morning of….)
But you’re still feeling the cram of “too much to do.”
(It’s that giant “overhaul the entire website’s copy” project you’ve been bumping every day from your to-do list – for like the past 2 WEEKS.)
You know what we’re going to do?
When you’re my client, I’m going to build in that deep work time AND that mama battery recharge time to your schedule – plus all the kid cuddling and house managing and client seeing you need to keep those balls going.
And it’s all going to fit – BECAUSE I used your schedule as the breaking point for your energetic container.
Can’t fit? Well then, something must not be a priority.
And I’m not going to let you drop your selfcare (OR your kid time) to do it.
(And don’t worry, not the client delivery either. You’re STILL going to deliver those AMAZING results.)
Because what you need to do instead is strip back your NORMAL to-do list.
There’s ALWAYS going to be another baseball practice to schlep the kids to, or product pre-launch to sketch out, or spring break trip to make reservations for….
….So if your ordinary to-do list is already crammed full, you won’t have the margin to handle this NEW set of tasks.
(Simple physics, right? You’ve already got a full plate. And can’t squeeze any more in without shorting yourself on sleep.)
Since no, this isn’t a magic trick – it’s literally the ONLY way this busy season is going to fit into your already-busy work-from-home schedule – at least if you want to skip the burnout THIS time around.
Because there’s no need to flirt with burnout to hold both the high achiever & the present mom identity.
And I know EXACTLY what to get rid of for you, ‘cause you’re still trying to make this work from INSIDE the bottle, and I’M over here on the OUTSIDE.
Just DM me when you’re ready for the “both-and” strategy you need.
