Yes, I admit it – it’s hard to change.
- Your brain keeps wanting to pull you back into those same negative thinking patterns of self-scolding each and every time you get something wrong.
- You’re automatically self-sabotaging every week you build a new habit.
- Your body’s just trying to keep the status quo (even if your higher self knows better).
But you know how you’re going to overcome this – by crafting that picture of your new life.
New body.
New habit.
And this picture is so compelling that you return to it over and over, no matter how many times you fall down along the way.
No, it’s not going to be *easy* to uplevel yourself enough to delegate 85% of your chores, or take breaks whenever your cycle needs you to, or limit yourself to a 3-item to-do list.
But that’s what your dream requires. And more than anything else, you want that dream.
- The dream of sitting at your desk, mug in hand, looking over your to-do list and being excited to get started at what’s on there.
- The dream of pausing work to kiss your babies in the morning, knowing you just put in a good two hours before they got up, and now you can switch to housewife mode for the rest of the morning with *no* resentment.
- The dream of *not* having to be the toilet scrubber or dish washer or whatever your top most hated chores are, and outsourcing that to someone else (like your kids) for the duration of their time at home. (Empty nester is a long time away!)
- The dream of flopping down for a break whenever you feel your energy bottoming out, and happily, without guilt, scrolling through your phone or picking up the next library book you got just for yourself.
- The dream of knocking out that business to-do list day in and day out, which directly translates into more clients or course students or buyers, which just lights you up when you think about the transformation they’re going to experience.
- The dream of pulling in your own paycheck, on part-time hours, making money by doing what you love.
That’s the dream.
Is it worth all this?
- Is it worth the uncomfortableness of admitting you want to earn an income *and* stay home with your babies, even if you’re “supposed” to be fulfilled just with your family?
- Is it worth the mental discomfort of not doing every single thing around the house when you were raised to believe that was your job?
- Is it worth the squirmy feeling of “I can’t believe I’m sitting down when I still have work to do,” because you needed an energy break?
- Is it worth giving up much of what a typical mom does and believes about herself in order to make an extraordinary impact on the world around her?
When you’re convinced, to your core, that it’s worth it, you’ll find it easy to commit to change.
Because the mental work of shifting your identity is always THE most uncomfortable part – but only until YOU decide there’s something on the other side you need.
‘Cause that’s when you push through to get it.
(Which is why, when you’re coaching with me, I’m going to gently push you on all the mindset stuff you’ve been letting gunk up your biz ideas, family routines, and personal systems – because when you’ve cleared *that* stuff out of the way, you become pretty much unstoppable in your business!)
So if you’re ready to see what *mindset* can do for you as the missing key (to your ultra efficiency and delegata-ability and all the rest of that good stuff), join me for the ultimate empowerment experience of putting *your* biz success back in *your* hands – not the shiny, new, latest social media strategy’s. Okay?
Are you ready to move past your “time to hire again” second guessing and “did I do enough today” mental circle-running, and finally de-stress?
